About Dr. J
Dr. Bruce A. Johnson brings over 35 years of experience in teaching and training adults. The first half of his career was dedicated to Corporate Training and Development, culminating in his role as Manager of Training and Development.
In 2005, he transitioned into distance learning, where he has spent the past 18 years serving in various academic leadership roles, including Online Instructor, Faculty Development Specialist, Faculty Director, Faculty Development Manager, Dissertation Mentor, and Dissertation Chair.
Beyond academia, Dr. Johnson is also an inspirational author, writer, and educator. His life mission is simple yet profound: to teach, write, and inspire others. He holds a Ph.D. in Postsecondary and Adult Education, along with a Master’s in Adult Education, an MBA, and a Certificate in Training and Performance Improvement (TPI).
As a scholar-practitioner, Dr. J has been published in a scholarly journal and has presented at international and faculty conferences on distance learning and higher education. His contributions to the field include over 230 published articles on adult learning, higher education, online teaching, and mindset development.
